Five litres in a shallow 28.5cm dish, only 10.5cm deep. Purple is a useful code colour in a feed room that runs more than one horse — one shade per animal, so the right supplement goes in the right feed at six in the morning.

The tub weighs 0.1kg, has a flat 23.5cm base and chamfered edges, and is made from the same food-grade LDPE as the big tubs. Red Gorilla list purple as BPA free.

How to Use

• Squeeze the rim between finger and thumb to make a pouring lip when decanting.
• Rinse in warm water with a mild detergent and stand it upside down to drain.
• Nest several together on a shelf — they stack flat and take up very little room.
• Wipe dry before storing powders or supplements in it.
