Agrifence Economy Ring Insulator – 25 Pack
A woodscrew ring insulator, sold in twenty-fives. The screw goes straight into a wooden post with a driver and the conductor threads through the ring, holding the line off the timber so the pulse stays in the fence instead of leaking away into a wet post.
These are the economy pattern rather than the heavy duty one, which makes them the sensible choice for temporary and semi-permanent lines — paddock divides, strip grazing, a run that will be moved again next season. They take wire, rope or tape up to 12mm.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Woodscrew fixing, so installation needs nothing but a driver.
- Takes wire, rope or tape up to 12mm wide.
- Ring pattern lets the conductor run through freely and be re-tensioned.
- Keeps the conductor clear of the post, which is where power is lost on a wet day.
- 25 per pack — enough for a short run or a set of repairs.
Suitable For
- Wooden posts on paddock divides, strip grazing lines and semi-permanent runs.
- Agrifence Easyline 3, Super 6 and Super 9 polywire.
- Agrifence Easytape at 12mm, in white or green.
- Too narrow for 20mm and 40mm polytape — the Agrifence Easytape White 20mm x 200m needs a wider insulator than these will take.
- Not for steel or plastic posts; the fixing is a woodscrew and needs sound timber.
How to Use
- Drive the screw into sound, dry timber until the ring sits clear of the post face.
- Do not overtighten — the plastic will strip or crack before the screw runs out of thread.
- Thread the conductor through the ring before tensioning the line.
- Space insulators so the conductor is supported without being pulled hard against the ring.
- Replace any insulator that has cracked or gone chalky with UV exposure.
