Agrifence Easyline Super 6 White Polywire – 500m
The half-kilometre reel of Agrifence's mid-range polywire — 2.5mm, white, six stainless steel strands. At 500 metres it is the reel to buy when a whole field is going under a rotation and you would rather not be splicing two shorter reels together.
Every join in a polywire line is a potential voltage drop, so fewer joins is a real advantage rather than just a convenience. A single long reel run out in one pass gives a cleaner electrical path than the same length made up of offcuts and connectors.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 6 stainless steel strands through 2.5mm polywire.
- 500m on one reel, so long runs need fewer joins.
- White for visibility, particularly with horses.
- Noticeably better voltage retention than 3 strand Easyline over the same distance.
- Stainless strands stay conductive rather than corroding dull.
Suitable For
- Whole-field rotational grazing set out in one pass.
- Several paddock divides put up from a single reel.
- Horse and pony paddocks needing a clearly visible line.
- Agrifence do not recommend Super 6 for perimeter fences or for use in poor conditions.
- A very long single run, or one through standing vegetation, is better served by Agrifence Easyline Super 9 with nine strands.
How to Use
- Run the reel out along the line before threading, rather than dragging wire off it under tension.
- Support on ring insulators or plastic post eyes and tension by hand.
- Use polywire connectors at joins; knots break the electrical path.
- Reel back in at the end of the season and store dry.
- Test voltage at the far end as well as at the energiser to confirm the run is not too long for the setup.
