Agrifence Easytape White – 12mm x 200m

Easytape is Agrifence's everyday polytape: a tough poly mesh woven with stainless steel wires, 12mm wide and supplied on 200 metre reels. The width is the point — a flat white band is far easier for a horse to see and respect than a thin wire, and a fence an animal can see is a fence it will not walk into.

At 12mm this is the narrowest of the three Easytape widths, which makes it the lightest to handle and the least troubled by wind. It is the width to choose for temporary work where the tape will be moved regularly and stored between uses.

• Agrifence do not recommend Easytape for perimeter fences or for use in poor conditions.
• For a long exposed boundary where you want maximum visibility, the 20mm Agrifence Easytape is the wider option, though it needs an insulator rated above 12mm.

How to Use

• Thread through ring insulators on wooden posts or through tape slots on plastic posts.
• Tension by hand and keep the tape flat; a twisted tape catches wind and frays.
• Join with a proper tape connector that clamps across all the stainless wires — knots do not conduct.
• Wind back onto a reel rather than bundling, to keep the tape flat and untangled.
• Check the connections at each join once a season and clean off corrosion.
