A woodscrew gateway insulator with a double loop, sold in fours. One loop takes the fence conductor coming in, the other takes the gate handle, so the two are anchored independently and the pull of opening the gateway is not taken on the fence line itself.

That double loop is the whole idea. On a single-loop insulator the gate handle drags on the same point as the live conductor, and either the joint works loose or the tension pulls back through the fence. Anchoring them separately keeps the electrical connection still while the mechanical load goes into the post.

How to Use
