Agrifence Offset Ring Insulator – 21cm, 10 Pack

A straightforward offset ring insulator on a 21cm arm, sold ten to a pack, for holding electric fence rope or wire out from a permanent post. Agrifence's design point is protection: an animal that leans on the fence meets the live line at 21cm rather than the timber behind it.

The shaft is straight, which means it accepts the Agrifence Speediso drill bit. On anything longer than a couple of dozen posts that is the difference between an afternoon and a morning, and it is the reason most people fitting offsets buy the straight-shafted pattern rather than turning each one in by hand.

How to Use

• Fit at the height the animal makes contact with the fence.
• Drive the straight shaft square into sound timber, using the Speediso bit where you have one.
• Keep all the arms pointing the same way and at the same height along the run.
• Pass the rope or wire through the ring; do not tie the conductor to the insulator.
• Replace any insulator whose ring has worn through, before the conductor starts touching the arm.
