Agrifence Premium Tape Clamp with Clip – H6005
This is the fitting that takes a run of tape and gives it a clip to hang on: a premium aluminium clamp that grips tape up to 40mm wide at one end and offers a clip at the other, for connecting to gate handles or any other fitting on the line. Agrifence build it in aluminium plates for perfect electrical contact and maximum conductivity, with no voltage loss at the join.
Gateways are the usual home for it. The clamp holds the full width of the tape so the current transfers cleanly, and the clip means the connection can be made and broken without cutting or re-threading tape each time something needs changing.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Clamps electric fence tape up to 40mm wide.
- Aluminium plates give perfect electrical contact and maximum conductivity.
- No voltage loss across the connection, as Agrifence specify it.
- Integral clip connects the tape to gate handles and other fittings.
- Clips on and off without cutting or re-threading the tape.
Suitable For
- Tape up to 40mm wide, including standard horse tape.
- Connecting a tape run to a gate handle at a gateway.
- Attaching tape to other fittings, anchors or lead-out connections.
- Any join where a clean, removable connection is wanted.
- Not a line joiner — to join two tape runs end to end use the Agrifence Line to Line Connector for Tape 40mm.
How to Use
- Switch the energiser off before working on the line.
- Lay the tape end flat between the aluminium plates, across the full width.
- Tighten evenly so the plates bear on the conductive filaments, not just the edge.
- Clip the fitting onto the gate handle or other connection point.
- Restore power and check the voltage past the clip with a fence tester.
