Agrifence Rope Joiner H6007 – Galvanised Steel Clamp

The H6007 is a galvanised steel clamp that joins two lengths of electric fence rope, or connects a rope run to an energiser lead-out cable, on rope up to 6mm in diameter. Metal-to-metal contact through the clamp is what keeps the join conductive — a knotted rope carries current badly, and a poor knot is the usual reason a fence reads well at the energiser and poorly at the far corner.

It is a permanent fitting rather than a quick-release one. Tightened onto both rope ends it stays put through weather and line tension, and there is nothing to unclip or lose. Agrifence rate it for rope only; 40mm tape is joined with the Agrifence Line to Line Connector for Tape 40mm instead.

Performance & Benefits
  • Galvanised steel clamp, so the join conducts instead of resisting like a knot.
  • Fits electric fence rope up to 6mm in diameter.
  • Joins two rope runs, or connects rope to an energiser lead-out cable.
  • Clamps directly onto the conductive filaments inside the rope.
  • Galvanised finish stands up to a permanent outdoor fence line.
  • Fitted with nothing more than a screwdriver or a small spanner.
<>
Suitable For
  • Permanent horse and stock fencing built in electric rope.
  • Repairing a rope run that has broken, stretched or been cut.
  • Extending an existing rope line into a new paddock.
  • Connecting the lead-out cable from an energiser to the fence line.
  • Not for tape — 20mm and 40mm tape need Agrifence Tape Buckles or the Agrifence Line to Line Connector for Tape 40mm.
<>
How to Use
  • Switch the energiser off at the mains or disconnect the battery before touching the fence line.
  • Feed both rope ends into the clamp so they overlap fully through the body.
  • Tighten evenly until the rope is gripped firmly and the metal is bearing on the conductive filaments.
  • Restore power and check the voltage beyond the join with a fence tester such as the Agrifence Voltmeter 10kV.
  • Re-check tightness after the first few weeks — new rope beds in and settles.
