Agrifence Premium Tape Insulator – Pack of 10

Agrifence's premium pattern for wide tape, code H4638, made specifically with their Mega and Maxi tapes in mind. Slip-proof rubber pads inside the body grip tape up to 40mm across its full width, so the tape is held without being pinched at one edge.

That grip is what extends the life of an expensive tape. A tape that can creep through an insulator polishes and frays at the contact point until the conductive filaments part; held on rubber, it stays where it is put. Agrifence's stated benefit for it is straightforward — reduced wear and a longer service life for the tape itself.

How to Use

• Set the line height and mark it along the run before fitting any insulators.
• Fix the insulator to sound timber at that height.
• Lay the tape flat between the rubber pads, unfolded, and close the body onto it.
• Do not force a 40mm tape into a partly closed body — open it fully, seat the tape, then close.
• Walk the run after the first gale and reseat anything the wind has pulled through.
