The 40mm version of Agrifence's tape buckle, for the wide white tape most horse paddocks are fenced in. The tape threads through and folds back on itself so that the join takes the line tension mechanically and presses the conductive filaments of both ends together at the same time. Five to a pack.

Agrifence recommend the buckle for the Mega and Maxi ranges. It is the economy joiner: fine for a straightforward mid-run join, but where a join needs the best possible electrical contact — feeding a gateway, or rescuing a long run that is already down on voltage — the Agrifence Line to Line Connector for Tape 40mm is the better fitting.

How to Use

• Switch the energiser off before touching the tape.
• Thread the first tape end through the buckle and double it back.
• Feed the second end through so the two overlap conductive face to conductive face.
• Pull the join tight and make sure the tape lies flat rather than rolled.
• Restore power and check the voltage on the far side of the join.
