Agrifence Woodscrew Corner/End Insulator

A screw-in insulator for the corners and ends of a rope or wire fence, moulded in polyamide — the plastic Agrifence specify where high tensile forces are involved. It drives straight into a timber post and takes the strain of a line terminating or changing direction, which is several times what a straight-run insulator ever sees.

The body is smooth where the conductor passes over it, so rope and wire feed round without being cut into. It is an inexpensive fitting doing an important job: corners and ends are where fences let go, and a line insulator pressed into corner service is the usual reason why.

How to Use

• Switch the energiser off before working on the line.

• Bring the line up to tension and check the conductor is running clear of the timber.
• Check corner and end insulators once a season — they wear before anything else.
