Allen & Page Mixed Corn – 20kg

A simple blend of wheat, maize and expelled soya oil, fed as a supplement rather than a ration. Corn is energy, not nutrition — at 10% protein and almost no calcium it cannot sustain a laying hen — but fed properly in the afternoon it helps birds hold condition through winter when energy demands rise.

Scattering it also satisfies the instinct to peck and scratch, which keeps birds occupied and out of mischief. Made with source-identity preserved non-GM ingredients, with lysine and methionine from natural sources rather than synthetic amino acids.

Suitable For

  • Adjust quantity according to flock size and energy requirements.
  • Always provide fresh, clean water and access to grit.

Care & Caution
  • A supplement, not a feed. At 10% protein and 0.04% calcium it cannot sustain a laying hen on its own.
  • Overfeeding corn is the single most common cause of poor laying in back garden flocks. Keep it to an afternoon handful after the main ration.
