A set covering both SOHO patterns — the bright blue hand-drawn daisy and the navy polka dot — in 100% recycled fabric. Ancol make them to fit all their own collars, so the bandana goes on with the collar the dog already wears rather than being knotted round the neck.

Ancol give the recycled-content figure as two plastic bottles kept from landfill per bandana. What they do not publish is any measurement or neck range, so there is no size chart below — worth knowing if your dog is at either extreme, very small or very large.

How to Use

• Fit the bandana onto the collar before the collar goes on the dog.
• Keep the fabric clear of the lead clip so it cannot be caught as the clip moves.
• Check part-way through a walk that it has not slipped round under the throat.
• Ancol publish no washing instructions for the bandanas; their SOHO collars and leads are rated for a 30°C machine wash with no tumble drying.

Care & Caution

• Fabric near the mouth is a chewing risk. Take the bandana off if your dog pulls at it, and off altogether when the dog is unsupervised.
• Check it is not tightening on the collar or riding up over the ears.
• Stop using it if the fabric frays or a seam opens.
