Ancol Heritage Harry Hedgehog – 22cm

Harry is a 22cm plush hedgehog from Ancol's Heritage Collection — a compact, round toy rather than one of the long-limbed characters, which makes him easy for a smaller dog to get a whole mouth around. The back and the face use different fabrics, giving the varied texture that is the point of the range.

He is firm yet cuddly, filled with 100% recycled stuffing and machine washable at 30°C. As with the rest of the Heritage toys he is for carrying, cuddling and gentle mouthing, not for a dog that treats every soft toy as something to be opened.

How to Use

• Give him for supervised carrying, cuddling and gentle play indoors.
• Machine wash at 30°C. Do not tumble dry; allow him to air dry fully before returning him to your dog.
• Check the seams each time he comes out of the wash.
• Take him away at the first split rather than after it becomes a hole.

• Ancol's own listing for Harry is inconsistent about sound: it describes both a built-in squeaker and a silent design. We cannot confirm which applies, so no squeaker is claimed here. Ask us before ordering if a silent toy is what you need.

Care & Caution

• Not indestructible, and not a chew toy. Dogs should always be supervised during play.
• Check regularly for signs of wear and remove him immediately once the fabric is torn — stuffing and any internal squeaker can be swallowed and cause a blockage.
• Do not tumble dry, and make sure he is dry through before he goes back to the dog.
• If your dog opens soft toys as a matter of habit, this is not the right toy for them.
