The same safety collar as Ancol's reflective fish, in red with a star print, adjustable from 20.5cm to 34cm. The reflective ink is the point of the pattern rather than decoration: it throws back headlights and torch beams, so a cat sitting in a kerbside gutter at dusk registers as something rather than nothing.

The buckle is a break-away type. Ancol are explicit that it is designed to come apart if the collar snags, which is what makes a collar defensible at all on a cat that climbs fences and goes over sheds. The oversized bell does the other half of the job, giving birds and small mammals warning that something is stalking them.

How to Use

• Fit the collar so two fingers slide easily between the webbing and the cat's neck — snug enough not to catch a leg, loose enough to release.

• Take the collar off when applying liquid spot-on flea treatment, and refit only once the coat is dry.
• Spot clean with a soft damp cloth, then air dry fully. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.

Care & Caution

• The buckle is meant to come apart, so this collar carries no load. Never clip a lead, coupler or tether to it.
