Battles Poultry Drink goes into the drinking water, so the whole flock takes it without a bird being caught. It is one of the old standbys of British poultry keeping, used through the moult, around point of lay, and while birds are picking up after a red mite infestation has been dealt with.

The 500ml bottle is the size for a flock of any real number, or for a keeper who uses a tonic on a routine rather than a rescue basis. Per millilitre it works out better than the 250ml, provided it gets used while it is fresh.
