The same pine, the same processing, in a finer flake. Littlemax gives all the dust-free, hygienic benefits of Bedmax in a lighter form, which makes daily stable management quicker — and suits smaller stables, ponies, and anyone who finds a large-flake bed heavy work.
The flake mix is deliberate: larger flakes drain urine down to the base while the finer shavings absorb moisture, keeping the surface dry and cutting ammonia exposure at the level the horse actually breathes. The pine is dried at sterilising temperatures and carries natural antibacterial properties, and the bed is firm enough to support hooves while cushioning hocks and joints — which is what encourages a horse to lie down and get proper rest.

How to Use
- Spread evenly to create a 5–8cm deep bed.
- Remove soiled bedding regularly and top up as needed.
- Bank the sides to reduce the risk of a horse becoming cast.

Care & Caution
- Store bales off the ground and under cover. Damp shavings will not perform.
- A finer flake shifts more readily than large-flake Bedmax. For a horse that digs, the standard Bedmax holds its shape better.
