A straw pellet bedding made from 100% natural British straw, designed to outperform both traditional straw and wood pellets. Pellets take up very little room in the bag and then fluff out into a deep bed, which is why a 15kg bag goes considerably further than the weight suggests.

The bed it makes is firm but cushioned, supporting hooves while padding hocks and joints, and it holds enough moisture that hooves do not dry out the way they can on a very absorbent wood bedding. It is dust extracted for respiratory health, fully compostable, and breaks down quickly into nutrient-rich manure.

How to Use

• Spread evenly and allow the pellets to fluff out into a deep bed.
• Some yards dampen the pellets initially to speed up expansion.
• Lift wet patches from the base layer and top up as needed.
• Bank the sides to reduce the risk of a horse becoming cast.

Care & Caution

• Store bags off the ground and under cover. Pellets take up moisture readily and will expand in the bag if they get damp.
