Buddycare Dog Ear Cleanser – 200ml
A plain routine ear cleanser with one of the shortest ingredient lists Buddycare publish: water, coco glucoside, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, aloe vera leaf juice and sodium hydroxide, and nothing else. Buddycare put it at over 99% naturally derived.
It is used to flush wax, dirt and moisture out of the ear rather than to treat anything. Drop-eared breeds and dogs that swim benefit most from it, because a warm, damp ear canal is where trouble starts. It is a maintenance product, not a medicine.
<>Performance & Benefits
- Very short formula — six ingredients, over 99% naturally derived on Buddycare's figure.
- Coco glucoside lifts wax and debris out of the canal rather than pushing it further in.
- Aloe barbadensis leaf juice to settle mildly irritated ear skin.
- Glycerin helps break down hardened wax before it is wiped away.
- pH balanced and free of alcohol and fragrance.
- 200ml bottle; Buddycare also make a 5L for grooming rooms.
Suitable For
- Routine ear maintenance on any breed.
- Drop-eared and heavily coated ears that hold moisture.
- Dogs that swim or are bathed often.
- Puppies from eight weeks old.
- Not for an ear that is already painful, smelly or discharging — the Buddycare Antibacterial Ear Drops are the antiseptic product, and a sore ear needs a vet first.
How to Use
- Shake well before use.
- Apply directly into the ear canal until you can see liquid in the ear.
- Massage the base of the ear softly for several seconds, then let the dog shake.
- Wipe away loosened wax and dirt with a cotton pad — the visible part of the ear only.
- Repeat on the other ear with a fresh pad.
- Store cool and dry, out of reach of children.
Specification
- Composition: aqua, coco glucoside, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, aloe barbadensis leaf juice, sodium hydroxide.
- Volume: 200ml. Also made in 5L.
- Over 99% naturally derived, pH balanced.
- Suitable for dogs of all breeds from eight weeks.

Care & Caution
- Never push a cotton bud into the ear canal. Use a pad on the outer ear only — buds pack wax down and can perforate an eardrum.
- Do not use it in an ear with a ruptured or suspected ruptured eardrum.
- External use only. Keep it away from the eyes and other mucous membranes.
- Stop using it and speak to your vet if the ear becomes red, painful or starts to discharge, or if the dog shakes its head persistently.
- Keep out of reach of children.
