This is the richest of the four paw cleansers: butyrospermum parkii — shea butter — is in the declared composition, which none of the other three carry. On pads that have gone hard and dry from pavements and salted roads, that makes a noticeable difference over a few weeks.

It works the same way as the rest of the range. The dog presses a paw onto the silicone brush set into the cap, foam comes up through the bristles, and a wipe with a cloth finishes it. The vanilla scent is warm and light rather than sweet.

How to Use

• Shake the bottle before first use.
• Press the dog's paw down onto the silicone brush head, or pump foam onto a cloth.
• Massage gently in a circular motion across the pads and between the toes.
• Wipe the paw dry with a cloth or towel. There is no need to rinse.
• Repeat on each paw; a 200ml bottle covers a great many walks.
• Keep out of reach of children.
