Carnilove Turkey & Venison Fillet Jerky Dog Treats – 100g
Venison at 26% is what separates this from the rest of the jerky range — most game-named treats carry a token percentage, and this one does not. Turkey makes up the other 64%, for 90% meat ingredients in total.
Collagen is included at 1%, and lignocellulose brings crude fibre up to 6.3%. At 3,440 kcal/kg it is about a fifth less energy-dense than the turkey-led Turkey with Venison Fillet jerky, which makes it the easier of the two to use through a whole training session.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 90% meat ingredients — 64% turkey and 26% venison.
- Venison at a genuinely useful inclusion rather than a trace.
- Collagen at 1%, and the highest crude protein in the jerky range at 30.8%.
- No chicken, cereal, potato or soya, and no artificial colourants.
- Crude fibre 6.3% from lignocellulose.
Suitable For
- Adult dogs of all breeds.
- Dogs avoiding chicken or beef.
- Training sessions where several pieces get used in one go.
- Not a complete food — on Carnilove's own guide a 25kg dog gets four pieces a day at most.
Feeding
- Carnilove's guide: 1 piece for a 5kg dog, 2 pieces at 10–15kg, 3 at 20kg, 4 at 25–30kg.
- Larger dogs: 5 pieces at 40kg, 6 at 50–60kg, 7 at 70kg and 8 at 80–90kg.
- Serve as a reward through the day, not as part of a meal, and account for 3,440 kcal/kg in the daily ration.
- Fresh drinking water available at all times.
