Dengie Meadow Lite with Herbs – 15kg

The lowest-calorie fibre feed in the Dengie range at just 5 MJ/kg, designed for good doers and for horses and ponies that are overweight or obese. It supports weight management without cutting chew time, which is the difficulty with simply restricting forage — a horse that finishes its ration in an hour spends the rest of the day with an empty stomach.

Soft meadow grasses, high-quality oat straw and pea hull fibre make up the base, supporting gut function and a healthy microbiota. Postbiotics are included for gut health, and cinnamon and thyme add flavour to tempt fussy feeders. At 3% sugar and 0.5% starch it suits horses prone to laminitis or on controlled diets. Free from molasses, alfalfa, cereals, preservatives and binders, using non-GM British-grown ingredients.
