Dodson & Horrell Suregrow – 20kg

A stud balancer, which means a concentrated source of protein, vitamins and minerals fed in small quantities rather than a feed fed by the scoop. At 26% protein with lysine at 19g/kg, calcium at 2.5% and copper at 170mg/kg, a few hundred grams supplies what a growing horse needs without the calorie load that comes with a stud mix.

That distinction is the point of the product. Growth rate in youngstock wants to be steady, and the commonest way it goes wrong is a well-meaning owner feeding enough of a compound feed to hit the mineral targets and oversupplying energy in the process. Suregrow separates the two, so nutrition and calories can be adjusted independently.
