Emerald Green Meadow Magic Pellets – 20kg
Pellets made from a blend of eight grasses rather than a single species, and free from alfalfa. A proportion of horses do not get on with alfalfa — some react to the protein level, some to the calcium, and some owners simply prefer to avoid it — and there are relatively few pelleted fibre feeds that leave it out entirely.
The numbers place this at the quiet end of the range: 9% protein, 31% fibre, 8% sugar and just 1.5% starch, at an estimated 9.25 MJ/kg. That combination of high fibre and low energy is what a good doer needs, and the low starch and sugar make it a more defensible choice for a laminitis-prone pony than the higher-sugar grass pellets.
<>Performance & Benefits
- An eight-grass blend, giving more variety than a single-species feed.
- Alfalfa-free, for horses that do not tolerate or are not fed alfalfa.
- 9% protein and an estimated 9.25 MJ/kg — a genuinely low-calorie fibre feed.
- 31% fibre with starch at 1.5% and sugar at 8%.
- Pelleted for compact storage; feed dry or soaked.
Suitable For
- Horses and ponies needing an alfalfa-free fibre source.
- Good doers needing bulk without calories.

Feeding
