Equiblox Hi-Fibre Blocks – 12kg
Compressed forage in 1kg blocks, twelve to the bag, built around dust-extracted hay fibre with alfalfa and unmolassed sugar beet. At 32% fibre with sugar at 5% and starch at 2%, and an estimated 10.5 MJ/kg, this is a genuinely calorie-controlled chew rather than a treat that happens to contain some hay.
The point of a block over loose chaff is time. A horse has to work at a compressed block, so 1kg lasts far longer than the same weight loose, which is what makes it useful for a stabled horse with nothing to do. Equiblox describe the fibre element as a 70% hay, 30% fibre blend; the composition list gives alfalfa, unmolassed sugar beet and dust-extracted hay fibre.
<>Performance & Benefits
- 32% fibre with 5% sugar and 2% starch, at an estimated 10.5 MJ/kg.
- Natural forage compressed into 1kg blocks that store and transport easily.
- No added molasses or additives.
- Palatable despite the low-calorie profile, so it works as a genuine treat.
- Encourages natural foraging and extended chewing, which supports dental and gastric health.
