Equine America Citronella & Tea Tree Shampoo – 500ml

A concentrated shampoo, diluted ten parts water to one part shampoo, which is why a 500ml bottle goes considerably further than the size suggests. It lifts dust, dirt and grease out of the coat without the stripped, squeaky feel a harsh detergent leaves — there are no sulphates and no parabens in the formula.

Aloe vera leaf juice and panthenol, better known as pro-vitamin B5, put moisture back into skin and coat as it washes. Tea tree and citronella essential oils supply the scent, and both are cleansing oils in their own right, which makes this a sensible choice for a horse with a grubby, greasy coat rather than merely a dusty one.

How to Use

• Dilute 10:1 — one part shampoo to ten parts warm water.
• Wet the horse thoroughly before applying.
• Massage in with a sponge, brush or by hand, working up a lather and avoiding the eye area.
• Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
• Sweat-scrape and dry off; do not leave a wet horse standing in a cold wind.

Care & Caution

• Avoid the eyes. Rinse with clean water immediately if shampoo gets into them.
