Gor Pets Nordic Oval Cushion – 21in, Brown

Brown is the warmer half of the Nordic Oval Cushion range, and at the 21in size it makes a small, contained nest rather than a bed to sprawl on. One face is plush faux fur, the other smooth suedette, and the whole thing turns over when the seasons do.

Blown fibre inside means it can be flattened and plumped back up by hand, and an internal zip lets that filling come out entirely before the cover goes in the machine. Gor Pets publish the 21in at 51 × 38cm.

How to Use

• Put the faux fur face up in cold weather and the suedette face up when a smoother, cooler surface is wanted.
• Drop it into a wicker or plastic bed base, or lay it straight on the floor in a favourite corner.
• Open the internal zip and pull the blown fibre filling out before washing. Keep the filling dry.
• Machine wash the cover at 40°C, dry it fully, then refeed the filling through the zip and redistribute it by hand.
• Plump it up by hand every few weeks; blown fibre flattens where a dog lies in the same spot.
