Gor Pets Nordic Oval Cushion – 32in, Brown

At the 32in size — 79 × 56cm to Gor Pets' own figures — the Nordic Oval Cushion stops being a top-up cushion and becomes the bed itself. Brown suits a big dog and a working household better than grey, and shows less of the dirt that comes with one.

It is reversible faux fur and suedette over blown fibre, with an internal zip so the filling can be pulled out before the cover is washed at 40°C. On a cushion this size, taking the filling out is the only way it will fit in a domestic machine.

How to Use

• Put the faux fur face up in cold weather and the suedette face up when a smoother, cooler surface is wanted.
• Drop it into a wicker or plastic bed base, or lay it straight on the floor in a favourite corner.
• Open the internal zip and pull the blown fibre filling out before washing. Keep the filling dry.
• Machine wash the cover at 40°C, dry it fully, then refeed the filling through the zip and redistribute it by hand.
• Plump it up by hand every few weeks; blown fibre flattens where a dog lies in the same spot.
