Gorilla Tub Medium 26L – Pistachio

The chamfered edge on the Medium is a pouring lip as much as a sweeping one. Tip 26 litres out of a square-rimmed tub and it comes in a surge; tip it out of this one and the angled edge holds a controlled stream, which matters when you are filling a trough or wetting down a mix rather than emptying a barrow.

Pistachio is the pale green in Red Gorilla's palette and, unlike their standard green, it sits inside their BPA-free statement. The light interior also makes it the easiest colour in which to see whether a tub that has held mortar or mash has actually been cleaned out.

How to Use

• Lift a full one with both hands on the handles — 26 litres of water is about 26kg.
• Use the chamfered edge as a lip: hold the tub on its side and sweep or scoop straight into it.
• Rinse between feed and dirty work; food-grade or not, mortar and hard feed do not belong in the same tub on the same day.
• Wash out with warm water and a mild detergent, then upend it to drain.
• Store it upturned outside, or nest it inside a larger tub.
