Red Gorilla Gorilla Tub Extra Large 75L

Seventy-five litres is the largest tub Red Gorilla make, and the dimensions explain what it is for: 37cm deep across a rim 57.5cm wide, tapering to a 43.5cm base. That mouth is wide enough to take a shovel load or a stable fork without catching, which no smaller tub in the range manages.

It is still the same flexible ribbed LDPE as the rest of the family, so it deforms under a boot and comes back rather than cracking, and the rim can be squeezed into a pouring lip. The difference is scale — this is the tub for a whole stable's sweepings, a mixing batch, or bathing a large dog.

Performance & Benefits
  • 75 litres, 37cm deep, 57.5cm across the top and 43.5cm across the base.
  • Mouth wide enough to take a full shovel load or a stable fork without snagging.
  • Flexible ribbed LDPE with reinforced joints — it deforms under load and returns to shape.
  • Chamfered edges, which Red Gorilla say make scooping, sweeping and pouring easier.
  • Two reinforced golf-ball handles, textured for wet or gloved hands.
  • Food-grade LDPE that Red Gorilla describe as horse and pet friendly.
  • Smooth interior with no seams, so cement, feed and mud all rinse out.
<>
Suitable For
  • Mucking out a whole stable, or collecting sweepings and site rubbish in one trip.
  • Mixing cement, render or a large batch of feed.
  • Bathing a large dog, or soaking rugs and numnahs.
  • Storing bulky kit — rugs, boots, bandages — out of the way and out of the dust.
  • Too big to lift when full. If you want a tub you can carry loaded, the Gorilla Tub Medium 26L is the size that suits.
<>
How to Use
  • Bail it down or tip it rather than lifting a full one — this size is meant to be dragged or emptied in place.
  • Use both handles and keep the load low and centred when you do move it part-full.
  • Squeeze the rim into a lip to decant, letting the flexible wall hold the shape.
  • Rinse and upend to drain. It stacks inside another Extra Large for storage.

Specification
  • Capacity 75 litres. Height 37cm, top diameter 57.5cm, base diameter 43.5cm.
  • Food-grade LDPE (low-density polyethylene), described by Red Gorilla as suitable for storing and preparing food.
  • Ribbed sides, reinforced joints, chamfered rim and two reinforced golf-ball handles.
  • Red Gorilla describe the tub as flexible and weather resistant. They publish no frost or UV rating for this size.
  • This listing names no colour. Red Gorilla make the Extra Large in black, blue, orange, green, pink, pistachio, purple, red, sky blue and yellow, and their BPA-free statement excludes black, green and yellow — so check the colour supplied before using it for feed or drinking water.
  • Red Gorilla publish no tub weight and no tested handle load. A weight of around 2.1kg, a 57cm diameter and EU-tested 100kg handles appeared on this listing previously; none of those are Red Gorilla's figures.
<>
Care & Caution
  • Filled with water this tub holds around 75kg. Do not attempt to lift a full one — bail it down or tip it in place.
  • Red Gorilla publish no tested load or working weight for the handles, so treat the 100kg figure circulating on retail listings as unverified.
  • In a hard frost the LDPE stiffens. Flex a frozen tub gently to release the ice rather than striking it while it is cold.
