Henry Bell Suet Mealworm Bites – 500g

The 500g bag of Henry Bell's Suet Mealworm Bites holds two or three fills of a standard pellet feeder — the right size for finding out whether your garden takes suet pellets before buying a season's worth. The pellets combine suet with dried mealworm, which is what brings robins, wrens and dunnocks in.

Half a kilo goes quickly once the birds have found it, so treat it as a trial or a top-up rather than a winter supply. It is also a convenient bag to keep by the back door for hand-feeding a bird table.

Performance & Benefits
  • Suet pellets with dried mealworm blended through them.
  • 500g bag — two or three fills of a standard pellet feeder.
  • Small pellets, easy for lighter birds to take whole.
  • Feeds from a pellet feeder, a bird table or the ground.
  • Resealable bag, so an opened pack keeps indoors rather than in a shed.
<>
Suitable For
  • Robin, wren and dunnock — the insect-eaters that ignore a seed feeder.
  • Blue tit, great tit, coal tit, long-tailed tit, blackbird, song thrush and starling.
  • First-time suet feeders, or a second feeder kept topped up by hand.
  • Hand-feeding a bird table through a cold snap.
  • Not enough for continuous winter feeding — Henry Bell Suet Mealworm Bites 2kg is the size for that.
<>
Feeding
  • Fill a suet pellet feeder, scatter on a bird table, or put a handful on the ground.
  • Start with small amounts and see what is taken before settling into a routine.
  • Keep fresh water available for drinking and bathing alongside the food.
  • Made for feeding wild birds only. Not for human consumption.
  • Contains nuts and is packed in an environment where nuts are present.
