Honeychop Calm & Shine – 12.5kg

Calm & Shine is Honeychop's chopped oat straw and dried grass blend, dressed with rapeseed oil and carrying mint, marigold, camomile and nettle. Honeychop describe it as a feed for horses and ponies that are easily excited, where the point is a settled head and some bloom on the coat rather than extra energy.

The herbs are what people buy it for, but the working part is the fibre. Honeychop's own analysis puts it at 26% fibre, 4.5% protein and 0.5% starch, at 8.5MJ/kg. It is alfalfa-free, which matters if you are feeding a horse that reacts to alfalfa.
