A one-piece moulded manger that hooks straight over a stable door, a field gate or a post-and-rail fence, so a horse can be fed anywhere without fixing anything to the woodwork. It measures 41.5cm long by 33cm wide and stands 21cm high, and it comes off again in a second for washing out — which is the whole argument for a hook-over rather than a fitted corner manger.

Red Gorilla mould it in the UK from Gorilla Plas, their own recycled polymer, and the design is deliberately metal-free: no brackets, no screws, no hooks for a headcollar or a rug strap to catch on. The polymer is UV-stable and frost-resistant, so it does not go chalky and brittle after a winter hanging on a gate, and it stands up to being chewed, pawed and knocked about better than rubber or a basic plastic tub.

Care & Caution
