Horslyx Mobility Mini Lick – 650g

A single 650g tub of Mobility Balancer, small enough to hold in one hand and, on Horslyx's own figure, about three days for one horse. It is the cheapest way to find out whether your horse likes the Mobility lick before committing to a 5kg or 15kg tub.

Mobility is the joint formulation: glucosamine hydrochloride and MSM appear in the declared composition, ahead of the magnesium oxide, and vitamin E and vitamin C are both lifted to 2,000mg per kg against the 1,200mg of vitamin E in the Original lick. That makes the mini a genuine trial of the formulation rather than a flavoured treat.

Performance & Benefits
  • Glucosamine hydrochloride and MSM named in the declared composition, not just in the marketing.
  • Vitamin E and vitamin C both at 2,000mg per kg, above the Original, Mint and Garlic licks.
  • Chelated copper and zinc alongside the sulphate forms, for a portion of the trace element load.
  • 650g in a hand-held tub — about three days for one horse.
  • Useful as a distraction under the farrier, in the stocks or on the lorry.
  • Nothing artificial in the colours or preservatives.
<>
Suitable For
  • Older horses and ponies showing everyday wear and tear.
  • Competition horses whose joints work hard through a season.
  • Trying the Mobility formulation before buying a full tub.
  • Hand-held rewards and stretching exercises.
  • Too small to support joints over a season — Horslyx Mobility Balancer Tub 5kg is the size to feed continuously.
<>
Feeding
  • Horslyx give an expected intake of 250g a day for a 500kg horse, 200g for a 300kg pony and 300g for a 700kg horse.
  • Horslyx put a 650g mini at roughly three days' supply for one horse.
  • Offer it in the tub, held or stood on clean ground; do not decant it.
  • Introduce it slowly and monitor the intake rate; Horslyx note that consumption usually falls once a horse has got used to having a lick available.
  • Feed alongside forage and fresh water.
