The granulated form matters more than it sounds. Powdered garlic drifts off a dry feed and sticks to the sides of the bucket; granules fall through the feed and stay where they are put, which is why most yards feeding several horses end up on granules rather than powder.

Feeding

• Scoop into the daily feed and mix through, ideally into a damp feed.
