Size 8 in red is M — the average adult size, in the colour that does not disappear into a muck heap. It is the pairing most people end up buying twice: one for the lorry and one that lives in a coat pocket.

Construction matches the rest of the range, with a seamless nylon knit under a nitrile palm coating, touchscreen fingertips and EN388:2016 behind it. There is enough room at size 8 to wear a thin liner underneath through the winter without the palm going tight.

How to Use

• Sizing is generous. KM Elite advise dropping a size if you want a snug fit.
• Pull on from the cuff and work the fingers down before flexing the palm.
• Rinse mud and sweat out in warm water and air dry away from direct heat.
• Replace once the nitrile palm starts to crack — the grip goes before the glove looks worn out.
• Not intended for prolonged handling of hot metal; the heat test covers brief contact only.
