Medium is the size most people should be buying and the one that goes out of stock first. KONG's published band for it is 5–35 lb, about 2–16kg, which covers spaniels, border collies, beagles, terriers and the bulk of British crossbreeds.

The toy itself needs no introduction: hollow natural red rubber, a bounce that will not run straight, and a cavity that turns dinner into forty minutes of work. How to Use

• Start with dry kibble falling out freely, then move to wet food and freezing as the dog gets better at it.
• Smear the inside with something sticky before adding kibble, so it does not all fall out at once.
• Serve one or two a day as part of the daily ration, not on top of it.
• Wash in hot soapy water — KONG advise a ten minute soak — or dishwasher top rack with the heat cycle off.

Care & Caution
