Levington Tomorite Concentrated Tomato Food – 1.2L

Tomorite is the high-potash liquid feed most British greenhouses run on, and this is the 1.2 litre bottle — the one litre size with 20% extra. At NPK 4-3-8 the emphasis is on potassium, which is the nutrient that turns flower into fruit rather than into more leaf.

Levington enrich it with seaweed extract. At the label rate of 20ml in 4.5 litres of water, a 1.2 litre bottle gives sixty canfuls, which is a greenhouse of tomatoes through a whole season with plenty left over for the courgettes.

How to Use

• Tomatoes and potatoes: dilute 20ml in 4.5 litres of water.
• Peppers and aubergines: dilute 10ml in 4.5 litres of water.
• Greenhouse plants in soil: feed at alternate waterings. Outdoors in soil: every 7 to 14 days.
• Gro-bags: once a week outdoors, twice a week under glass, starting once the second truss has set.
• Mix only what you will use — Levington say not to keep diluted feed. Wash hands and splashes off after use.
• Store the bottle between 5°C and 35°C.
