Nature's Grub Fruit & Berry Treat Mix – 600g

The 600g pouch of Nature's Grub's fruit and berry scatter mix: cooked and whole cereals with raisins, apple, cranberries and apricots, black sunflower seeds and oyster shell. It is thrown on the ground for the flock to hunt through rather than put in a feeder.

The pouch is the size to buy first. It is enough to find out whether your birds are interested without committing to a bucket, and small enough to live in the feed bin rather than on the floor of the shed. Nature's Grub declare 13% crude protein.

Suitable For

Feeding

• Scatter straight from the pouch onto dry ground, best in the afternoon.
• A handful per bird is plenty. Treats should stay a small part of the day's intake.
• Birds eating whole cereals need insoluble flint grit available separately. The oyster shell in this mix is a calcium source for shell building, not a grinding grit — they are different jobs.
• Fold the pouch over and keep it somewhere dry between feeds.

• Composition: naked oats, red dari, micronized barley, micronized wheat, raisins, red millet, oyster shell, rolled naked oats, black sunflower seeds, apple, cranberries, apricots, micronized peas, kibbled peas.
• Analytical constituents: crude protein 13%, crude fats and oils 4%, crude fibres 4%, crude ash 3%.
• Also declared: lysine 0.5%, methionine 0.2%.
