This is the small tub of Omega's probiotic and prebiotic powder — 650g, or about 42 daily scoops. At the standard rate that is a six-week course, which is roughly the length of trial most people want before committing to a bigger pack, and about right for covering a single stressful stretch such as a move, a run of shows or a spell of box rest.

The formula is identical to the larger tubs: Saccharomyces cerevisiae NCYC Sc47 declared at 1.7 trillion CFU per kilogram, prebiotic fructo-oligosaccharide, and a yeast product supplying mannan-oligosaccharides and beta glucans on a linseed meal and brewers yeast base.

Feeding

• Normal use: half a scoop to one scoop daily. The enclosed scoop holds 15.5g.
• During periods of stress: one to two scoops daily.

• At two scoops through a stressful spell it will last about three weeks.
• Mix into the daily feed and keep fresh water available.
