Flexology is the broadest joint supplement Omega make, and the one to reach for when a single ingredient is not enough. Vegan glucosamine, MSM, hyaluronic acid and boswellia are the four actives, sitting alongside avocado soybean unsaponifiables, pineapple extract, L-proline and chelated zinc on a linseed meal base.

It carries a longer loading period than Omega's other joint products — 31g a day for 14 to 21 days before dropping to 15.5g — which is worth planning for, because the loading fortnight alone uses close to half a kilo. Omega state the 930g pot lasts around 60 days once a horse is on the maintenance scoop.

Feeding

• Loading rate: 31g — two enclosed scoops — daily for 14 to 21 days.
• Maintenance rate: 15.5g — one scoop — daily thereafter.
• Omega state a 930g pot lasts approximately 60 days at the maintenance rate.
• The loading period uses 434g to 651g, so a first pot bought for loading and maintenance together covers roughly 18 to 32 days of maintenance after loading.
• Mix into the daily feed. Fresh clean water should always be available.
