This is glucosamine and nothing else: over 99.5% pure glucosamine hydrochloride, produced by fermentation rather than from shellfish. There is no filler, no flavouring and no carrier, which is why the scoop is small and the tub lasts longer than the weight suggests.

Omega set the rate by bodyweight — 5g for a pony up to 300kg, 10g for a horse up to 500kg, 15g above that — so this 500g tub runs for about 100 days on a pony, 50 days on a 500kg horse, or 33 days on a heavyweight. Omega state it is competition legal.

Feeding
