A high protein flake food suitable for all types of pond fish, in all types of pond. Flake suits smaller mouths and younger fish that struggle with sticks or pellets, and it spreads across the surface so shier fish get a share rather than the biggest koi taking everything.

The flake is naturally coloured, which attracts fish up to feed, and highly palatable, so it tends to be taken readily even early and late in the season when appetites are down. The tub uses a resealable strip system to keep the food fresh once opened — worth having, because flake goes stale and loses vitamin content faster than pelleted foods.

Feeding

• Feed only what the fish can eat within a few minutes.
• Feed 2–3 times daily in the warmer months.
• Reduce as the water cools and stop below roughly 8°C, when fish stop digesting properly.

Care & Caution

• Reseal after every use and store somewhere cool and dry. Flake deteriorates faster than pellets once exposed to air.
• Overfeeding is the most common cause of poor pond water quality. Feed less rather than more.
