Scruffs Alpine Box Bed – Taupe, Extra Large 90 x 70cm

At 90 x 70cm this is the biggest Alpine Scruffs make, and the only size with 18cm walls rather than 16cm. That extra depth is what a heavy dog needs: a german shepherd or a rottweiler pushes the bolster down as it leans, and a shallow wall simply flattens under the weight.

Like the Large, the X-Large has a machine washable outer cover over a separate water-resistant inner cushion, which is the only sensible way to build a bed this size — a whole 90 x 70cm bed will not fit a domestic washing machine, but the cover will. The pile is thick-cut taupe faux fur over a 100% recycled fill.

How to Use
  • Take the inner cushion out before washing. Do not wash the cushion itself.
  • Gentle machine wash the cover at 30 degrees with a mild detergent.
  • Do not bleach and do not tumble dry. Dry the cover flat and refit it.
  • Colour transfer may occur, particularly while wet.
  • Keep the bed away from open fires and heaters.
