Not every horse needs calories, and Lucie Stalks exists for the ones that do not. Simple System take certified organic lucerne and sieve out much of the leaf, leaving the stalk behind: crude fibre climbs to 35–45% while protein falls to 8–12% and digestible energy sits under 10 MJ/kg. It is the low-calorie end of their lucerne range by design.
