This is the Field & Trial recipe with no cereal and no rice in it at all. Sweet potato chips at 25% and potato flake carry the carbohydrate instead, behind poultry meat meal at 30% — the highest meat inclusion of any dry food in the range covered here.

It is also the richest of the moderate-work recipes at 13% fat against 25% protein, 355 kcal per 100g, with omega-3 at 1.58%. The 15kg bag suits a household that has already established grain does not agree and is settled on it.

Feeding

• Feed dry from the bag, or moistened with a little tepid water a few minutes before serving.
• Skinner's publish their daily amounts as a bodyweight chart rather than a single figure, so work from the guide printed on the bag and adjust to condition.
• At 13% fat this food is denser than most of the range, so measure rather than eyeball the ration.
• Change over gradually, mixing an increasing share of the new food with the old across several days.
