Feeding

• Feed dry or moistened with a little tepid water.
• Skinner's publish their daily amounts as a bodyweight chart rather than a single figure, so work from the guide printed on the bag and adjust to condition.
• Split the ration into two meals and leave a clear gap either side of work rather than feeding a full bowl immediately before or after it.
• Drop back to a maintenance recipe when the season ends, before the condition goes on.
