The coir itself is the functional part. Coconut fibre is coarse and springy, so it takes wet mud off a boot tread rather than pushing it around, and it dries out between uses instead of staying damp underfoot.

How to Use

• Unroll and lie it flat for a day before use so it loses the curl from packing.

• Site it under a porch or canopy if you can; coir standing in rain goes soft and sheds fibre.
• Swap it end for end now and then to even out the wear.
