SPILLERS Digest+ Conditioning Cubes – 20kg

Digest+ Conditioning Cubes solve the usual conditioning problem — putting weight on a horse whose digestion is the reason it lost weight in the first place. The calories come from digestible fibre and oil rather than flaked cereal: soya hulls, sugar beet pulp and rice bran carry the energy, and starch is held at 11.5% with sugar at 3%.

It is molasses free, and Spillers include both a probiotic live yeast and prebiotic FOS. At 12.0 MJ/kg it is as calorific as a conditioning mix, with 14% protein for topline rather than just fat cover. Cubes rather than a mix, so there is nothing to pick over and leave.

Performance & Benefits
  • 12.0 MJ/kg from fibre and oil rather than cereal starch.
  • Starch 11.5% and sugar 3.0% — low for a feed sold on weight gain.
  • Molasses free, with no added sugar.
  • Probiotic live yeast and prebiotic oligo-fructose for hindgut function.
  • 14% protein and 450 iu/kg vitamin E.
  • Cubed, so a fussy horse cannot sort the good bits out of the bucket.
<>
Suitable For
  • Horses and ponies needing to gain or hold condition.
  • Horses with a history of loose droppings or unsettled digestion.
  • Horses that become sharp on flaked cereal conditioning feeds.
  • Building topline on a horse in work.
  • Not a feed for a laminitic or insulin-dysregulated horse — 11.5% starch is low for a conditioning cube but not low in absolute terms, and Spillers Fibre-Lite Molasses Free with Spillers Lite & Lean Balancer is the pairing for those.

Feeding

  • A Stubbs scoop holds roughly 1.9kg.
  • Keep ad-lib forage and clean water available.
