Zero In Fly Papers – 8 Pack

Fly papers have not changed much, and there is a reason for that: a sticky coil hung in the right place catches flies all day for the price of a cup of coffee, with no spray drift, no residue on surfaces and nothing for a fly to become resistant to. These are STV's Zero In papers, code ZER878, eight coils to a pack.

STV bait the paper with a natural insect attractant and print it on clean white stock with a natural fruit scent, which they say raises the catch rate over a plain paper. They are rated for indoor and outdoor use, so the same pack does the kitchen, the tack room and the stable passage.

Performance & Benefits
  • Eight fly papers per pack, each unrolling from its own card tube.
  • Baited with a natural insect attractant rather than an insecticide.
  • Clean white paper with a natural fruit scent, which STV link to increased catch rates.
  • Rated by STV for both indoor and outdoor use.
  • No spray, no vapour and nothing left on work surfaces or feed bins.
  • Cheap enough to hang several at once and replace them when they fill.
<>
Suitable For
  • Kitchens, utility rooms, conservatories and porches.
  • Stables, tack rooms, feed rooms, kennels and outbuildings.
  • Caravans, sheds, greenhouses and summerhouses.
  • Anywhere a poison spray would be unwelcome, including around food preparation.
  • Not the right answer to a heavy outdoor fly problem around muck or stock — a fly trap with a bait such as the Zero In outdoor range copes with those numbers better.
<>
How to Use
  • Pull the paper out of its tube by the tab and hang it from the loop.
  • Fasten it securely. A paper that swings loose is the one that ends up stuck to something.
  • Hang high, in a bright spot and out of the way of people, pets and washing.
  • Replace the paper once it is covered or has lost its tack.
  • If a paper does stick to skin or fur, STV advise using vegetable oil to work it free.
<>
Specification
  • Zero In Fly Papers, 8 pack. STV product code ZER878.
  • Sticky paper coil baited with a natural insect attractant. No insecticide.
  • White paper with a natural fruit scent.
  • For indoor and outdoor use.
  • STV publish no length figure for an extended paper, so none is stated here.
<>
Care & Caution
  • Hang papers where pets cannot reach them. STV say specifically to position them away from areas where pets might come into accidental contact, and to fasten them securely.
  • If a paper does catch fur, skin or feathers, use vegetable oil rather than pulling — pulling takes hair and skin with it.
  • Do not hang a paper directly over food, feed bins or water buckets.
  • Keep them out of reach of small children, who will grab anything dangling.
